I'm a software engineer with broad interests, diverse experience, and big ideas. I care about making the world better on and offline.

With the exception of LinkedIn, I don't use social media because I believe it harms society. I'm especially alarmed by how it contributes to political polarization.

* As of 2025-11-07, content from thoughts and Medium are being migrated to my new blog, which is powered by another platform. I'm mostly migrating the oldest posts first, but some newer ones may be migrated sooner if there is a good reason to do so. When a post is migrated, it will disappear from its original location and re-appear on the blog. For that reason, each of the platforms will be missing some posts during the migration, but the three taken together will contain all posts. All new posts will be published directly to the new blog.
